The term 'Ley-Line' comes from a pseudo-spiritual concept that claims sacred sites throughout the planet are aligned by paths of energy that can be traced from one 'holy place' to the next. In California wine, most often the appellation is king, however in this instance Valdiguie from Mendocino and Syrah from El Dorado are blended together into a wine that's more than the sum of its parts. 70% of the 'Ley-Line' blend is Old Vine, Dry Farmed Valdiguie organically farmed by Rosewood Vineyard in Mendocino County, bringing a bright, high toned aroma into the mix, full of tangy red fruits and zesty acidity. The remainder of the blend is Old Vine and Own-Rooted Syrah from the high altitude El Dorado appellation, adding a brooding and exotic spiciness to the aroma, and a savory edge on the pallet. Rest assured, this is the perfect crushable red wine for all of your holiday endeavors.
